With our hopes and plans to continue adding to the many things FBCS has to offer our students, we are happy to announce the addition of a new employee. John Vice plans to join our wonderful group of teachers and staff as an assistant principal, dean of students, and high school athletic director.

John has twenty-three years’ experience which includes administration, teaching, and coaching.  With a BS in Social Studies Education and a Master’s Degree in Religious Education, among some things he plans to do is help FBCS continue to develop our athletic program.

John is married to one of our own K5 teachers Dianna Vice, and they attend The Bayou Church in Lafayette.  They have three children.  Tara and her husband Rob and their two sons live in Dallas where Rob is on staff in a church; their son Patrick is a US Marine and combat veteran; Hannah, their younger daughter is the manager of Orange Theory Fitness in Lafayette, and she is the mother of Lilly who is in first grade at FBCS.

John will begin full -time work with us on Monday, January 7, 2019. Please join us as we welcome Coach Vice to First Baptist Christian School.
